with the second i dont mean to be be picky but i can notice you just copied and pasted or something as the line just goes into the background but the first is cool

I see that you used fractials.

Looks good to me. You should check out some tutorials on YouTube to get you started on the GIMP-sig making business :Wink:

Tip:
On the first one, you can see that bits and pieces of white were left around the render of sonic.
To prevent that, before you make the selection, turn up the threshold a bit, if you turn it up to much, then pieces will be cut o the render.

Naw,I made the backround wit PAINT.NET and saved it.Then got sonic from igoogle,and put them together.It's a start. :lol:

Yea, I think it is a fractal. Confirmed.
Instead of increasing the threshold, you could Feather the selection (Select-->Feather). That makes the selection's border soft. Btw, I mean what I said, go watch some tutorials on YouTube, that's what got me started!!

So what do I search for? "GIMP tutorial"?
