On a relationship break *UPDATED!*

A girl asked me:
"Um...I kinda love you....it's hard but I'll now,will you be my boyfriend?"
Then she ran home and didn't let me answer.

She's like nice and everything,but I don't want any relationships yet,I'm on a break. Well,sort of,I need some time to get over lots of stuff.

The answer will be no whatsoever,but I need any good excuse to say no?
I'm doing this so I don't hurt her. My friend Vlad suggested to say I'm gay,but she lives a few floors above and it won't work :lol:

PS.
The gay method works everytime,in use for causes when you don't wanna hurt a girl,use it with caution,don't humiliate yourself too much,though

So I'm waiting for suggestions :/

Tell her that you just got out of a long relationship and that you are kinda hurt from it and just want to be single for a while!

Truth isn't always the best....and really it wouldn't seem right :blackeye:

Say that she is more of a friend and that if you do go out it would ruin your friendship but you could still hang out if it wouldnt be weird

well what i usually do is take a walk with her to a nice place and say it calmly without hurting here and there usually happy and clam sure a tear may come out but make sure to cheer her up :)

I would suggest just trying to talk to her.

well you could just tell her truth i mean truth may not always be best but at least they wont hate you if they find out yer lying

Take her to a calm place, like a park. Then tell her that you're not ready for a relationship yet. If she asks why, tell her it's because of personal reasons (because some just passed away or something)

She'll probably understand you

You could tell her you need to think about it, but never get back to her with a answer

I wanted to say that, too. But she lives beneath him, so she can call him or go to his house.
