Air Pirate's ability lets it switch into Defense Mode even when I've already changed one monster's position, so I do that now.

First off I would recommend changing his star rating, a level 5 monster for 3k ATK points sounds a little too low. But the rule is 5, 6 stars gets 1 tribute, 7 or up gets 2 tribute monsters,
