I use it, it's fine. Just be careful what you're downloading.
I got like a whole radio station on it.

I can go around putting viruses in stuff and putting it out there.
But you can scan it w/ AVG.
One would think the "File sharing" in "File sharing network" would imply "File sharing."

So by using common logic, yes, things on Limewire tend to have viruses. Using even more common logic, we can infer that files that have been downloaded many times tend to have a slightly lesser virus possibility (The songs with the 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's for the number of people sharing it).
Tragic thing is that the people who post these viruses are lifeless cavemen who never got out of their mom's basement.
Just imagine,you're sitting on your computer and get this idea:
"Oh wait,I have nothing better to do,let's try...umm...sharing viruses all over the internet so I can ruin people's lives and valuable data?"
