Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
Yesterday as i was viewing some topics, i got a warning from antivir. I selected delete. Today morning my computer was slow as hell and overheated. 100 % of my CPU was used, 50 % by the kernel. I got rid of it, but it was hard. It was an invisible exe in startup. If your computer is slow after you visited APH, make a check with TuneUp. It starts with your computer, so you have to start in secured mode. After then you can remove it.

Thanks for sharing!
I haven't got any problems yet, but now I know what could cause them.
Re: Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
Antivir says a trojan has been found. Click remove, disconnect from internet and try to find it. Its the algkir32.exe. Its hidden and cant be found in normal way.

Re: Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
How can you be sure APH was where you got the virus? APH only has flash games which can't virus anyone. Was it
a trainer on arcadetrainer maybe? I have been on for days and have no virus? A virus can be on your system for
awhile sometimes before they even start. Some of them won't even start until you restart your computer, just asking!
Re: Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
I wasnt using a trainer. As i got home yesterday, i logged in, checked my PMs, read some topics then i got the warning from antivir.
Re: Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
I guess what I am asking first of all is what site! APH, AT, or ATF. There should be no way to get that virus from
APH.
Re: Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
I was on both, I got it as i had the tap with APH open.
Re: Beware! Got attacked by a trojan on APH yesterday!
All I can say is hopefully it just appeared to happen because of ATF and see if anyone else did, if not then apparently
it came from somewhere or something else. Viruses are hard to pin point sometimes because as I mentioned a lot
of them don't start as soon as you get infected. Some of them plant themselves on your startup, then start when you
turn your pc on the next day or may even have a delay or a certain action that deploys them.
Anyway lets see if anyone got it and go from there, without knowing the exact page you were on there isn't much we
can do. I believe there is a virus scanner running on these sites not also!
