Black Ops

Me? I'm too old to play it, but I bought one for my little cousin's birthday and decided I should get one for me. ( I know it just came out, but my cousin's birthday is today. ) While I was waiting for the party to start, I played a little on my X box that some one gave me because they thought it was my thing. I played two missions on the campaign and a little multiplayer.

It is a great game, I especially love the map Nuke Town. It's hilarious. 9.7 out of 10. But the CoD graphics engine seems a little overused. So what are your thoughts so far?

I don't really care, but go on.

PS. I returned the game. I didn't want to clutter my house (with one game) and I also got rid of the Xbox.

They're really butchering the COD series.
I mean, one game per year?

I'm a COD fan.

One year is Infinity Ward's time to shine, the other year is Tryarch's. Why do you think they signed the deal? Because Activision told them to? I think not.

Does it get released for the Wii?
The game seems pretty awesome.

CoD looks alright. Not a huge fan of it though.

CoD pretty much went downhill after MW2 with all the hate. CoD now is just a cake with new icings ever year but the same old flavor.
Meaning they put in something real cool but huge flaws.
For Black Ops, it is all the new game types like the gun game, and wager matches. But the flaws are gun sound suck, no "quickscoping", game focuses on SMGs.

It's like every year on my birthday, I fly to Germany to have my birthday with Mr. Heim. He owns a cake shop, and every year I take my friends to his shop to celebrate my birthday, every year he bakes the same cake with different icing, because that's his signature cake. When I was 7 I was in Germany so I had my birthday at his shop. He made a joke about me having all my birthday's at his shop. So now I do.

It's exactly just like the CoD franchise. New icing. Same Taste.

THEATER?!?!?! -> Theater mode
CREATE A CLASS 2.0??? -> Armory (lets you customize characters in Black Ops)
OMG THIS GAME SUX
(you can argue that Halo wasn't the first one to come up with this stuff, though)
Me in my normal mode: The cake is getting stale.
Atleast the PC version has Dedicated servers now.

Since Call of Duty 5, COD games are just getting worse. I wish they had sticked with the second world war.

No way. There were no Automatic rifles,except the German Stg. and that was made in 1944, later surpassed by the AK47. Made on 1947.

Automatic rifles are hardly worth anything in my mind. Call of Duty 2 and 3 had a great storyline with lots of great settings and features. That is all I care about.

I had MW2 and that was a awesome game just about the only annoying thing about it is that the knifing can sometimes p**s you off. And I swear if one more commando person comes up to me I will blow their brains out! :P Hope they fixed that in COD 3? lol thanks

Black Ops caused an unofficial holiday at my school. A lot of people actually stayed home to play it. I haven't even bought the game yet, but I have heard it is a lot like World At War.

Its got Nazi Zombies mode.

they are saying they are gonna make only 9.
probably if they only do 9 treyarch and infinityward will work together to make it EPIC.

I don't like these games. They're horrible. I bet you're thinking "OMG SUM1 can't handle all the violence!!", well the fact is I find them quite boring :D .

They bought MW2 because it says "Call of Duty".
They will definitely buy COD:BO, just because it's the next game in the COD series.
And you can definitely bet that I'll buy it.

People bought MW2 because CoD4 caused hype for the next CoD.
People got excited for BO because MW2 was a disappointment so people were like "Treyarch will fix all the crap in MW2 and it will the best CoD of ALL TIME...ALL TIME.

People have bought it for different reasons.
