Its dis-respect to the hacker and in most cases they tried there hardest but could not find the variable.
The only acceptable way would be to re-hack it yourself.

A "Next Page" button at the bottom of a list of games. ATM there is only one next page button, and it is at the top.

Good suggestion. But I think it's set to 3 for a reason. Some people have slow internet and it would take a while to load a page from ATF because it has too many smilies (images)

well our huge sig pics don't help slow internet user, im sure a few more smilys won't hurt

Here's a suggestion:
There could be APH comment-mods (or some more?) that would just check around the ArcadePreHacks site and delete offensive comments, advertising comments and spam.

I know that it might sound a bit off, but anyways, there's a lot of spam at the comments of the games.

i have a suggestion i already told martin. when i was banned i noticed it was just the ip that was banned and not my user. using google i found a way to change my IP (but i didn't, to much work for me lol) also i could just go to a friends house and log on. or just use a proxy, my suggestion is ban both username and IP to make sure they can't get on until the ban is lifted

lol your banned anyways dude.. and we do ban both username an ip but you only had a 3 day ban..

he means for all bans, because I have enough computers that i could survive atleast 4 ip bans, but if you ban the user name also, then there wouldn't be that problem. There have been people who get ip bans who come back and then you got to permaban them. Which doesn't help them learn their lesson. permabans are for when someone is really BAD. If i was staff it would make sense to permaban them, but the admins wouldn't have to do that if banned people couldn't get back on during their ban. the only reason they come back is because they are tempted to do this is because they have the ability to. then they act stupid and are rude to staff. they wouldn't be if they weren't able to get back on.

I still say we need to move the search bar to somewhere where the newbie who wants to request something will actually use it, rather than miss it because it is out of the corner of his eye. Like above the announcements section on the board index, and above the announcements for each forum.

Maybe a post lock? Until they use the search feature they cannot post? Only until they reach a certain amount of posts though.

Don't think that would work...as in, technically not feasible.

Just put the search bar somewhere where they can see it better

Okay, when they sign up bring up the rules page. add a 3 minute time lock on the "I agree button."

That's a good idea, but 3 minutes is more than enough in reading the rules, for it's not a 500 page licence agreement :lol:
The timer could be 1 minute and say that you need to read the rules first.

And thus comes the ultimate idea!!! After the 1 minute timer lock thing, bring up a pop quiz over the rules. if they dont pass they get redirected to the rules page and they will be forced to read them if they want to join!

And thus will bots stop joining!

Its not crazy. I have seen some sites do that kind of thing. but the main thing is we dont want spammers or newbs. if they dont read the rules that is their fault and they get banned. i think the warnings should be changed though. like if someone gets a warning they get a 1 hour or 2 hour ban. that way if they want back in they just have to wait an hour, if they dont they wont post here ever again

Umm, I don't think that bans like that would help. It would scare newbs away and that way atforums would run out of new peopld 0__0

Well, a lot of newbs that come here post once then they don't ever come back. I still think the quiz over the rules is a good idea though.

We do not need any of that stuff you guys said :roll: in my humble opinion

The search bar is right above the topics....... and everyone woukld ALWAYS search if they read the rules.
Now, I think alot of people would find this usefull,
I find it very annoying that you can have only 255 characters in your sig, which is mostly taken up by urls for images,
And it makes it hard to give credit that people deserve (meaning, I origanally thanked joonaqwe for my sig like this: You Rock, Joonaqwe! and now its been reduced to: by Joonaqwe .) You can see i cut a lot out of my sig because i wanted to advertise for Ultamiya, I took out the part saying that people can pm me if the want a userbar.
To sum it up, I think its important to have longer signatures becasue poeple deserver better credit for there art, some poepe want t advertise websites, and lots of people like to put there own little comments in there signature.

i have a suggestion you know wen people say they'll hack this game there should be an up to date info on how the hacks going that way the person who requested won't get impatient or atleast let them now were ding the hack

Good idea. To add some to it, perhaps a Current Games Being Hacked section. Where people can call their hack, or say it is done.
