i actually dont know
i could be because as you said a pride thing,
or i could be that they want to become famous or something for requesting some ultra-mega game that nobody thought of hacking.
it's those kind of things that can make them touchy about it.
or it could be that its just their personality and they dont like it when ppl disagree with them
Would you like it if everyone hated your work that you spent your time/life on?
If someone spends their time hacking games so other people can appreciate and enjoy them, and someone tells them they did a horrible job; they would not feel appreciated.
If someone does something and only gets negative feed back, it makes sense that they would not respond in a friendly way, dont you think?
