There is this big weapon thing and the autobots and decepticons go for it
then there is this advanced big robot which will stop them or something?

well my friend, the Transformers 2 is where the very first Decepticon who landed on earth at about the time of when the aztecs started to flourish, and he hates humans... So, he is awakend (and still fully fuctional), and is stronger than Megatron, and had a "weapon" as you may call it, but in fact it is a device that the Cybertroniains used to suck the energon from the suns core, but they need this key device to turn it on and the Primes(the old leaders of the Autobots) hit it away. And the giant Decepticon was a creation of Megatron.
