Career

So yeah, I really need some helping picking a career since I have no idea what to with my future. I would go to a counselor but my school is too cheap to have any good ones. Anyhow here is my problem

1) I would want to go to the game industry because it's a safe bet since I love to play video games 24/7. The thing is though, the payment is about 50 grand, which will barely be enough in the prices we live today (US) and I can't draw for crap
2) Maybe some cool job that involves some math because I'm amazing at math and just love algebra. However, I don't know any except jobs that involve drafting which I hate drafting with a passion
3)I would also like to do maybe a career in movie director/editor or a book author. However, I think it's just a bit too risky.

So pretty much can you guys help me find some job that maybe involves creativity, video games, and maybe math. I would really appreciate it. Okay thanks :hello:

doctor/surgeon maybe? thats what i am going to be, and ive already got a scholarship for college and i make a's and b's yay!

Nah, too long in collage and can't stand seeing blood gushing cuts or getting near sick people. Lol

Dude you have to do what your heart tells you to do cause your heart tells you that you can do that stuff/thing/etc.
You dont want a job that you hate!

It will take time but when something comes up! BOOM take it!

Thanks guys and I will. The thing is, my junior year is coming up and fortunately I'm going to be a senior during that year since I will have enough class credits to be classified as one. Meaning less time for me to pick a career and more pressure

Get some packets done if you owe credits dude! get them packets in! im doing online school (in utah only wich sucks) its pretty cool and i get credits on there !

I don't owe credits, I'm packed with credits. I''m actually going to have problay twice the amount of credits required to graduate by the time of my 4th year there

Oh even better!!! Dont worry about anything then! Just get into a sport and enjoy life!

If i join a sport, I won't be able to concentrate as much on school work and grades will drop. Bad thing about that? Well if I receive a 4.0 GPA through the whole 4 years there, I get a full scholarship to any collage in the state :shock:

K then if you want to be perfect then do that!
If you keep your grades like they are then you have almost every job by there balls and can ask for any wager and if you do good enough and they reject then there gonna come runnin to you for the position!

And Justin..Lol I can't do music, I tried that back in 6th grade and quit the 1st day we got our instruments :blink:

i was also nominated for something called whos who from washington dc, dont reall know what it is though, they sent me a letter

I've received so many presidential awards, GPA awards, etc. My walls are covered with them :shock:

I did say I might want to become an author, problem is...it is just too risky for somebody who just got out of high school.

well then try this, while going to college try writing a book and learning at the same time, then send your book in to a publisher, while still going to college, that way if they dont like your writing you will still be going to college and will have that to fall back on
