Cubic-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
Cubic-Engine is a sandbox style game were the user can create is own world by placing objects in an empty area . After is world created, the user will be able to place his avatar, enemies etc. Note: the world will always be editable.
For more information go to : http://cubic-engine.blogspot.com/ (for now it is kinda empty)
Important: Even if the game is very well started(50% of the features available in alpha are done) , it still unstable (BUGS!) and because of that, I won't post too much information. :glare:
Important note: blender is not needed to play.
Important note no:2 to be able to play, your computer must be able to handle GLSL. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GLSL)
Are you looking forward the game or do you want to help ? For now there is some things you can do:
1: Following the blog.

Re: Cube-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
Is this suppose to be like minecraft?
Re: Cube-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
No.I was inspired by minecraft to make the level builder but the game in general will be different.
This game is programmed in python and I think that python offer more possibilities than java for game creation.
Re: Cube-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
How can you tell if your computer can handle GLSL?
Re: Cube-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
I have e no ideas, but if you download the game and the textures are not displaying then your computer does not support GLSL .
Most of the new graffic cards support glsl.
Re: Cube-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
So is this Cube-engine made by you?
If yes, I think the name should be changed

Cube-Engine
CubeEngine
I underlined the difference but, anyway I might rename the game to "cubic-engine".
Edit: Renamed to "Cubic Engine"
Re: Cubic-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
Do you have any idea how long it will take because I would be a tester (If you want me too)
Re: Cubic-Engine: Make your own world with BLENDER!
Python, eh? That sounds good.
I mean python is more compact and doesn't need 15 files to define 15 classes. [/example]
Wouldn't this look cool http://www.dafont.com/prototype.font?text=cubic+.engine ^^
EDIT: Fan art time :lol: ^

@RedFaceofAwesomeness
There are still 2 major features needed before releasing the alpha: creating a cool start menu and adding the player mode so I would say... 1 week minimum (schoooooool).
@Joonaqwe
I like it! (the fan art and the font). Can I add it to the blog?Of course, I will give you credit.
