Delete the chatbox and comments boxes from APH. Replace the comments section with a text telling ATF is where the support is. If they have an issue, they register to the forum. We have moderators here which means it'll be helluva lot easier.
Nothing good in the chatbox (ranting, 5 year olds learning how to swear, abusive names)
And the comments are nothing but "gaaaaaay" or "thumbs up if the hacker/game is gaaaaaay" or "jump this game" (=f*ck this game)

I say yes to deleting the chatbox, but I think we should keep comments.

I can say, Xnite wont delete the comments. Disabling the chatbox is the best idea.
Why don't we put a link on all the games, like underneath the Game Information, that says if they have a problem with the game, click here.It could to the forum, under the spam section (just in case it's a stupid comment).
Isnt this all a bit excessive?
The comments shouldnt be removed, since there are some people who do use them well. And besides, stupid comments are part of any large site. Theres not much to do to stop it.
The chat on the other hand could be moderated, as stated in my previous topic.
I'll go ahead and restate what i already said, try to trust your community a bit more.
Heres probably who you could make a mod:
~ Current Staff Members
~ Ex-Staff members willing to do the job
~ Trusted active users
~ People who seem responsible
Although be cautious with the latter, since it could just be a mask. My suggestion is to give them the moderator powers and keep a close eye on them for the first week or two. See how they act with other users, and also, listen to what the users say about him/her. Mabye add a link the the chat bringing them on a topic here to report abusive mods.
Another thing to do is log in to the chat under a diffent account and see how they act, since they might behave diffrently when you're not around.
Please consider this.

That's why I have only been on there once. All these people with comments saying people curse other people out at. Plus the time I DID go in there, everyone's comments were true. (Regarding "little kids that curse you out" and all that garbage)

Well, any member could say they are "trusted" but most members on APH chat aren't senior
users of the chat. I myself has only been here since a few months before the old shoutbox was deleted.
Still, i am not a good moderator. and don't really enjoy being one. so, i suggest making an active ~or~ senior member
a modertor. We should keep the chat, delete the comments, it's useless. The chat CAN be moderated easily.
