Its been a while

Well, my fire fightin days are over. maybe.
I was in a forest fire, putting it out. My job was to chop down trees that just got burnt and someone else was with me.
I fell in a muddy pit, and my partner that was choppin trees, chopped one and the tree fell over on top of me, he didnt even know i fell.

My fire cheif says i wont be fightin fires for a long time. There goes my career.
i just got released from the hospital on may 4th.

4 broken ribs, broken color bone, lungs damaged. :blackeye:

but i am hangin in there :cross:

doctor says it might be 4 or 5 years before i can do physical activities again. so i guess i will be fire fighting again later, but when i do fix up, i am going to train to be a smoke jumper (Jumps out of airplanes in forest fires to put em out) and that will be fun, until i land in a burning tree haha,

I am hangin in there, they put a body cast from under my arms to my waiste for about a week. but i have to take it easy.
i cant even feel my color bone, i dont think its broke but they say it is. and it hurts to breathe sometimes.

I will try to stay active in the forums :) sucks that i am gonna have a painful B-Day!
