How to make screen-shots *UPDATED*
Axus made this tutorial first, but people still keep asking how to make a screen-shot.
Plus, mine has images included, the text part is kinda same.
Step 1
Set up your computer to display the screen that you want to capture.
You might also want to remove the cursor so it won't bother the image.
Step 2
Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. This captures a "Snapshot" on the Clipboard.

Step 3
Open a graphics program, which I recommend the normal Paint.
If you don't have it,you can download an improved version of it called Paint.Net
Press "Control + V" on your keyboard,on that way the image will be pasted.
You can add details to your image, edit image size, get rid of the part that don't need.

Step 4
When you're finished,save it.
You can save it in .png or .jpg

Step 5 - Uploading the image
First of all,go to some free image hosting website.
I recommend http://www.imageshack.us
Click Browse and select your saved image.
Then select the option optimize without resizing from the drop-menu.
Finally click Start Upload

Step 6 - Getting a link
Wait a few seconds till the image is successfully uploaded.
The site will automatically refresh giving you 2 links to your image.
Click once on one link, then copy it.

Step 7 - Putting the image in a post.
Go to the topic you want to post and click Post Reply.
On the toolbar under the Subject, click the little Img button.

Then "Control + V" and the link will be pasted.
That should look something like this:

Re: How to make screen-shots *UPDATED*
If you want a screenshot of a whole webpage there is a nice addon for firefox called fireshot, which captures the entire page not just what you see.
Its very good if you have to show different parts of the webpage at once :)
Re: How to make screen-shots *UPDATED*
Hmm,not quite a point because you can crop the picture later but ok
Re: How to make screen-shots *UPDATED*
You should also update this for windows7 because now windows7 includes something to take a screenshot. Its called snipping tool, you can find it in your start menu. Very easy to use! Can select what you want to take a screen shot of if you didn't want the entire screen.
Re: How to make screen-shots *UPDATED*
Yea, snipping tool is a good program! There are also tons of Screen Capture software out there.

A quick, easy photo uploader is tinypic.com
It's the one I mostly use.
