pinkslip

i got a pinkslip in school, i don't know if my school is the only school that calls it that (i think it might be called a refferal or something in other schools) basicaly, it means that a teacher writes a note about the miss behaving hat youv done, you take it home and have your parents sign it and it goes on your pernament record. :( its a pretty big deal.
i still dont feel like I deserved it I got it for saying the word "crap"

I totally agree with you there...I hear so many swear words at Steel Valley I can't stand it :fool:

The school must be very strict to get a permanent record for saying such a word...I wouldn't even consider the word as a swearword!
It's like the lighter version of the word...s***.
But anyways, that sucks that you got a permanent record :(

Permanent records are just a figment to scare kids from doing things. They aren't real, and when you go to college, they won't see it.

its not called a permanent record, but when you get a new teacher they do receive a paper that has comments from every teacher you've had(they call them pinks and blues at my school because the paper is pink or blue depending on your gender). that comment will diffidently have a remark on the pinkslip. and about the word crap, ive never considered it a swear word before either, but now i watch my tongue. last year i had a teacher who freaked out whenever someone said frigen. i did say crap a bit loudly though... (i forgot my math homework that day)

Oh man thats a shoot!
In my school they call them yellow cards, and if you get 3 in one term your suspended for 1 day, but if you get 8 in one term then you are expelled!
(But the good thing is that all of your yellow cards get ripped up and you start afresh!!) :yes: :dance2: :yeah:

I had the tally system... Examples of how sad it was:
Missing a pencil...2 tallies (3 are a detention)
Missing a book...4 tallies
breathing....1 tally
being bullied....6 tallies!!!
Being A BULLY...-4 tallies!
YEah I was a vicim of bullying and I still had the most tallies... I had 5 detentions in 5 days yet the bulliess got away nearly scot free
