What I Think About the Newbies

Seriously, I am fed up. I have been locking topics left and right for almost 2 and a half months now, and still no one listens to anything here.

It seems as if none of them have the common sense to read the rules or the stickies, which they would otherwise do in other forums which don't relate to hacking. Is it because of impatience? Maybe. They don't want to go through the stickies and the rules, they just want THE GAME HACKED. But no, they request and it doesn't get hacked because we can't, and they haven't read the stickies and would know by now that the game they are going to request isn't hacked. And now, we have to take time out of our day, to lock the topic and possibly give them a warning.

But they keep coming and coming, and nobody ever listens. The cycle repeats. Infinitely. Forever.

And every time we try to do something, it doesn't work. Why? Because those newbies NEVER POST AGAIN three-quarters of the time. They might listen, but never request again, and new ones who didn't look at the stickies come in and repeat the mistakes of the previous newbies.

It is a neverending cycle that I feel needs to stop. Virtually all of them are impatient, lazy noobs. That's what I feel.

To add to that, a lot of them don't exercise good grammar. Sure, some of them might come from a foreign country, but it extends farther than that. They make spelling errors, use "plz" and spam smileys.

And, a few of them don't even provide links or do anything other than say "plz hack this".

I am absolutely fed up with those noobs. Yes, I will continue to deal with them as needed, but seriously! Somebody else must share my feelings.

Well, the biggest problem is probably the age of the people here which are quite young. Many of the new guys maybe never been to a forum before and don't know how to act on one. And like you said, they often come here make a new topic to request a game. The next time they will come is when they found a new game they want hacked. They don't even read the replies to their topics instead they often enough wait until the game is released on APH.

Maybe the people here on this board are too good as there are always other people searching for links or figuring out hacks. I remember the first board where i have been the people were only nice to the guys that did how the rules told them to do. One of the admins was extremely aggressive and when he did not liked you, you were banned without much hassle. Inactive users and old topics where pruned every now and then and admins where always right.

Some might need a harder hand, some are really just stupid they will always be here. But you should chill out, this is the Internet and not the real life. Don't let this ruin your day, stuff online should stay there. And lately you got some help with deathnote and now joonaqwe as GMods so you can share the pain. :yes:

Well if there were no newbies, then there would be no professionalls. Who knows? That little newb could become the next Bill Gates for all we know.

But yeah, they are annoying.

Some of them are bots or spammers.

Just in here. These sites and this forum would be NOTHING without newbies.
But as themanhunt spoke earlier, every newbie would become the new boss.

For example... you Auburn. I bet you didn't expect that one day you would've become a mod (or forum helper). You started as a newbie and look at you now... executive. And who knows? Maybe even higher someday.

The newbies are very important, b/c we were all one at soome point.

So, you've finally realized that 70% of all the users on the internet are 10-15 year old noobs, and only 10% are smart enough to figure things out after one or a couple tries. =P

Not necessarily,
A noob is someone who doesn't follow the rules, thinks that everyone around trying to help him is a noob, and stays like this no matter how long they have been here. And they tend to speak in half English using more nuM83r2 (and uses either all CAPS or all lower case) than normal characters.
A newb is someone who is new to something, polite to people around, and types normal and admits that he isn't very good.
I am a newb to hacking, I'll admit that im not good, but i intend to learn and improve.
Newbs are the people who can make a difference in the future, noobs have no future.
