I am really scared of spiders, and I have to check the corners of my room every night for spiders because I'm afraid I'll eat one in my sleep. The saying 'they are more afraid of you then you are of it' doesn't work with me, because if it was scared of me it wouldn't be in my room. If I told anyone they would think I was an idiot. I just had to confess my fear.
its ok a good ol stomping is a good thing
but dont kill them for no reason and leave them alone if there in a little corner they might have a family (spiders have feelings to)
Meh...I was scared of spiders when i was 10, but then i learnt that if you dont bug them, they'll leave you alone.
In the worst case, smashing the thing solves everything.
I am scared of spiders, pretty bad, but that only b/c we get TONS of black widows and they could get close to killing (you get really week, go to the hospital, you stay there for a while and probably get anti-venom), so I have to kill those. It's really creepy..... :(
I try not to kill others, but I end up doing that anyways....
Oh and about the family.....
Maybe some, but black widows eat there husband, then they hang out for a while (possibly sending you to the hospital) ( this 'ould be the best time to kill them) , they die after they lay there eggs, ( which may seem like a good thing that they die, not when they leave so many behind)
So yeah, with other spiders, I try to catch them and move them, but you get paranoid wondering, hm...maybe this one is venomous to...
So if I can catch them real quick, I smash 'em.

Im not afraid of tarantulas, we get some around here.
Sorrel, the average person is afraid of spiders, if you to scared to move towards them and you end up throwing stuff, then you have arachnophobia.

im kinda scared of spiders im getting over my fear slowly but i am :S
i dont relly get many big spiders here ( in canada ) just little black ones and long legs ... and one more but i dont know what its called ( it's alot bigger than the other 2 )
im not scared of them, but we got tons of brown recluses and those things leave a nasty bite...
