Why are staff so mean?

I mean, come on.

Some of you guys (staff) are really nice and helpful all of the time, and I respect you for that.

However, others (I'm not naming names) are always getting down on new people (Hey, Read the rules) - 30 secs later - (Hey read the rules or die).

Then theres turning on people. (Hey if you read then rules you'll be fine :D ) - 30 secs later - (OMG you spammed once instant warning BANHAMMER)

Then theres the arrogance. (Only I can do my job, thats why I'm staff) [Newbie] Hey I just trying to help[/Newbie] (Well, leave that to the staff).

I'm sorry but it had to be said, staff need to be nicer to people. Just cause they're staff, doesnt mean they dont serve the community of ATF.

If you wanna ban me like before for expressing my own opinions then go ahead, and while your at it read your own rules and the US Constitution and the Declaration of Human Rights.

Some staff members are responsible and helpful. Others lie their way out and abuse their power.

For example, I was banned "permanetely" from MiguelRaimond, when it said on my rank it was a 3 day ban. No disrespect, but Miguel abused his banning power. He IP banned me, and lied about my banning.

Just saying.

i remember that, you had a 3 day ban for like a week, but that was because miguel was just being a bad staff member and is now banned. but i think the staff are really helpful to the forum. without them there would be tons of useless crap on the forum. and i haven't ever seen the staff be mean to anyone. im sorry to say but i dont agree at all with 04wilsonm.

Well everyone has its own point of view,it's alright if you share it 8)

How can they find more staff if no one else gets a chance to help out...
Miguel was the one who said he would warn for requesting lock....which isn't a big deal..but requesting lock could be helpful but it could never hurt.
The most I'll say is that it isn't the admins who do this kinda stuff now...
I hope you think of this as a helpful post, not to be mean, because I never post without good intentions.

Well when i usually post something the staff(not naming) usually don't understand what i mean and lock it or even warn me and sometimes they break the rules to

Such as (don't ban me im just telling them):
Torrenting
Giving karma for no reason or just not something to do with respect
Never read the rules(this one dosent really count lol)
And others lol

MiguelRaimond used to be really mean to me. He kept saying stfu stick to the rules etc etc. but he was a baddie anyway. Glad he got banned. He nearly took lifetroop away in a ripoff to get a free iPad.

Well I really agree on this.
1 member of staff particularity (not naming) is really rude to all the forum members, sounding like they own the place, when quite rightly they don't.
Xnite and Greeny own this site NOT them, they also upset other users when locking their topic for 'Spam gainage' when quite frankly it's STILL on topic.
So I would like the staff members to hear this out!
Oh P.S if I could replace that admin I would replace them with ShadowHaunter, he is supportive and understands others.

Admins are the people that have been here for a really long time,hack a lot everyday and do forum job,too

I'd like to ask everyone to reveal those (not naming) guys. No one is getting banned,I just want to see all your perceptive.

Don't forget that staff are humans too. Not a 24/7 bot. They have thier personal life to take care off. Some had good times, others bad. It's true some may be mean but either they got a bad day for them and can't keep in them or because of a bot/spammer/jacka$$.

Because we don't...

Automatic staff sound like a bad idea. That's just my opinion, after all, they are man made and have mistakes, which means they can probably have a few more mistakes than the human moderators.

What's an automatic staff? This is new to me.

Like, a bot staff. That are like 24/7 supervision.

I'd feel really bad to do that.. and i think most people can look at a post and recognize that it's them who's being talked about, and move on to fix the problem without the embarrassment.

Staff have to be strict like teachers or even the goverment they need to keep the forum nice and tidy. They can get overeacted or hot-headed but still they do their job, if i was a mod i would take it nice and easy before approaching the hard stage that means the mods/admins are at the hard stage they are trying to hard they have the most posts/karma out of all the normal guys (registered users) So maybe tweak your self to medium or easy i mean seriously if you try to hard you can get really annoying and if you try to hard your not even trying at all isn't that right?

Martin Ristov: 7378 posts 135 karma and administrator
Shadowhaunter:4464 posts 89 karma and forum helper

Now then Martin has top post and karma and one of the highest ranks
Shadow has the second most posts and karma and has forum helper which is ok

While shadow you just post granted and it's a one word post

Then comes breaking the rules
Many staff members have broke the rules
