i play the good 'ol classic minecraft. christmas update has fireworks and enchanted books. though i couldn't find a way to use the books. does someone knows how to use it?

yes, i play. minecraft is cool. i play 1.4.5 and i think that's the actual version.

is there another version of it? do i need to update?
