Well im not going to be as thorough as our good friend (magic) Carpet here, but I would say being succesful is to be happy, and just altogether being at peace and ease. Or it could be running a multi-million worth company and raking in BIG bucks every week... but thats more of a LITERAL way of thinking about it
    Plain epicness.

I personally agree with you. Being successful means having something worth living for. To be able to have that feeling of accomplishment and pride is probably what keeps most of us from doing... stupid things when things don't go your way. You can be happy, with your friends, family, anyone, even that stranger who offered you that candy that your parents told you to stay away from and... nvm.

Basically, I'm trying to say that success means being happy to me. To be able to feel joy and pride, although a few million bucks a week wouldn't hurt.

Thing about success is that you never know when you actually are successful. Each time you've reached success, there is something better and higher to achieve then what you currently have. Beyond the success over success is more success.
    Have a good one. Always.

So what you're trying to say is that to achieve success, you must achieve a form where nothing is better than it.

Success for me is simply achieving a goal, whatever that might be for you. But also if you didn't even had a goal you might have success. Like being alive after a big car crash which is going to make you happy. So it is pretty much everything that enriches your day. That there is always a new goal after achieving one does not mean you can't reach success.

Don't know if I'm allowed to post anymore in this since it's been about one week, but on the off chance that I can (I was on the plane for the past day so I couldn't put anything on this) here's my third question.

Why do you think not everyone can get along?

I also realise that some of my questions may not be directly related to philosophy, but they give interesting results.

    Because people fear the unknown.

Then why not discover and learn about the unknown? I believe that many things aren't as scary as they appear. So why can't people learn about each other and learn to get along?

I realise I may be a bit naive...

Because they are afraid of what they will learn about themselves.
