You people should really replay the game. Reznov hypnotized Mason to kill Steiner, Kravatcheokatwatever, and Dragovich because they killed Dmitri, his best friend. It's implied that Mason killed JFK at:
He points a gun at JFK at the first meeting and pictures go on behind him,
the dialogue between Dragovich and Mason:
"You almost made me kill my president!"
"Almost?!"

i found that black ops has a better campaign and better online gameplay due to all the new stuff but mw2 has alot better graphics!!!
