well do you think the world would ever atucally make the world run on water? how about wind? even the sun?Originally Posted by killer1478

wind power: we already have a whole state covered in windmills, and that state still needs other sources of power.....i dont think we can power the earth with wind
solar: and now i get to the most revolutionary source of energy. NOT. solar energy is more efficent than the last 2, but to power america, we would still need to cover texas with solar palens, costing extreme ammounts of money, and getting rid of every bit of land in texas.....i dont think so
nuclear: belive it or not, neclear power is SAFE! there have been 2 meltdowns ever. 3 mile island, and chernoble. chernoble happened because they had lazy scientists. they didnt take care of the reactors, and it spwewd out radiation, killing alot of people, and mutation many as well. but this is a fluke! if the scientists would have took care of the reactors, nothing would have heppened. same goes with 3 mile island.
and to ansure *****ins question "how do they heat the rods up?" they heat themselvs up. that is what makes nuclear energy so efficent. the atoms in the rods are unstable, and move around as they please. so that heats the rod up. and when the rod gets hotter, the atoms move faster making the rod hotter, which makes the atoms move faster and that process repetes itsself, until they cool the rods down in the water. then when it is cooled down, they let it heat up again. the only reason that the rods dont just turn into lava, is becayse it takes a while for them to heat up.
now my finger hurts lol!
