Well the technology is still in development, but I think there will be some sort of switch on the side near the back that tightens or loosens the strings. To me, it makes sense.

Actually, the technology doesn't sound that difficult. Like when the switch is pulled back, it's pulling the strings, making the laces tighter.

And then there'd be a lock keeping it from being undone.
