    I'd say yes. Great job, that's where it all starts from!
    When you feel comfortable with the image, you can let your mind roam free and create a border!

    Yep.I finally figured out how to add brushes on to GIMP. XD

    I knew how to add brushes before but finding the gimp folder was a pain in the back. How could I have known that GIMP for Linux saves it's stuff in a hidden .gimp-2.6 folder
