Err.. well some websites I would suggest to kill time is.
Falling sand, its a game on the internet that needs java to run.

Just google falling sand and a ton of websites should come.
Its a sandbox type of game where you can do random things.

Like create nature, and add water to make it grow, then set it on fire to kill it .

Make wax, set it on fire and then that wax slowly leads to a tun of c4 which then explodes. So on so on fun game, good time waster

i think the powder toy is better. like falling sand but tons more elements and physics. http://powder.hardwired.org.uk/

EDIT: wow theres tons more elements than when i last played it. only problem is the newer interface makes it harder to get to each element.
