the journey to the Melee shop: a few minutes. It won't have any effect to anything around you
the journey to everywhere else: about 10-15 minutes. Some creatures might see you, or some medieval gang member might attempt to attack you

That would be at the town square. there is a billboard with quests. time to get to the town square: about 10 minutes. and the shopkeeper tells you that there is an evil fairy (lulz) at the town square, and that the king has a 50 gp bounty on its head (your first quest!)
Also: SPAD3R's current gold: 0 gp
