Read my post above. Yup,you're absolutely right. It's not the greatest,in fact,it's not even great. Because it's my 2nd language.
You randomly started talking about "every section". So I explain why are we doing it for Art section only.

I meant, the thread basically takes every bit of traffic away from the section and jams it into one thread. By the logic used to prove that the thread is useful, it would also be useful to jam every post from each thread into it's respective thread, thus running the entire site on 7 or 8 threads, which is just plain stupid.

Well for the record, I have to agree with magicman. We have an art topic for posting art. If we are going to cram
it all into one thread then why is ther an art topic?

I have talked to Martin about this and am waiting for his replay. We may see what xnite wants to do about it. I
myself don't see the problem. If the topic is hot and users reply then it will stay on top, if not then yes it will
go down some pages.

Just my opinion.

P.S. I emailed xnite to see if he agrees with it, because I realize Martin and I don't agree on this ART topic rule.

In my opinion, i take martins side, ppl who make one random thing in paint, and never do anything again should just post it in the topic, but like dave said, it is up to chris

Well if anything else, then we could say only one art topic per user. No multiple art topics by the same user!
I mean that would be sort-of a compromise.

I'm totally sick of this. Magicman won't stop annoying me just about everywhere.

I did this because I read this and I agree with both of them because that's a section I visit a lot and it's really spammed lately just because someone wants to show off his/her paint picture. A day later,there are 5 different ones with different types of crap. And the ones by the people who are dedicated and active in that topic are simply flooded over.

And I'm so freakin sick of Magicman and his attitude to all people here and me.
I won't ban him or warn him. I don't even care about what will Xnite decide because I'll let it be your way.
So I'll make it easy for all of you now. I hope you're happy now.

I think the only one art topic per user is a good idea. Maybe post a sticky about that, and anyone who creates 2 topics then just merge there posts with their first topic and ask them to only post in there one official topic.
