You can't actually determine which language is the hardest, because everyone has different ways of thinking and learning. One person might think one language is easy while another thinks its difficult. It's all a matter of opinions and the variety of learning techniques used by other people. But if I had to share my thoughts on which one was the most difficult, it would have o be English or Chinese, why?
Because English has so many words that sound very similar making it harder for foreigners/immigrants like myself to learn it. Other than that there is also the technique of using different letters to make the same sound like "ph" and "f" they both sound the same but are completely written different, which really caused me to mess up when I began to learn English. And on the other hand, there is also the technique of mispronouncing words according to the way a word is written. For example the word "Halo", how is it pronounced? "Hay-lo" not Ha-lo like it is spelled. Or maybe Nemo, "Nee-mo" not Ne-Mo.
And Chinese, because of what vgking and chuck said.
