BMI is calculated with height and weight.
It tells you if your weight-height proportion is right.
I calculated mine and it said i was perfect. :P

Yeah, but there are way more accurate ways to do it.

This is what you might find at most public schools for Phys. Ed.
Funny...at my sisters school the called it the "pinch test".
    But still not quite accurate.

At my school, they used this one:

I beleive it has something to do with sending an (extremely tiny) electrical current thruogh you're body to calculate body fat. I guess the current slows down or something when it gets to fat.
This is more accurate, and they have it at my school, but it's also confusing to use.

    Its not accurate.
Its a diffrent type of mesurment.
This measures your mass, fat, muscle, or thin mass.
BMI measures your proportion, for example, a short, heavy guy, will be obese, while a tall, thin guy will be underweight

No, it does give you a percentage of body fat (And some extra stuff), just like BMI. Unless the one I got of of Google images is really weird.
And the measurements are just about the same for obese or whatever, except the percent you need to be to be considered obese would change with the age you submit.
