P.S. so, im using windows 7 and the instant that flasm pops up it closes. i did download the windows version though, any ideas here as to y this is? im going to try running compatibility stuff right now, and i hope it fixes it.

Nah sorry can't help you with that, I don't know your system specs (I do not want to know either, please do not post them here). Oh, wait haha. you are using Flasm wrong. Flasm is not a program that you can just open up. Flasm is a program actually run and commanded by Command Prompt. Watch the tutorial more closely and you will see. Oh wait, sorry, I showed how to get it the easy way, by just dragging and dropping the file onto Flasm. Edit: Dude, I'm sorry, this game is way too much for me to hack. I can do it, but my mind is numb from changing endless amounts of code.
