For anyone who is going to hack a game from adultswim.com, check for a viral version before you do anything, if a viral version is available, get that one, if not, do not hack it, Xnite recived an email about my game, Hemp Tycoon, they said it was sitelocked and not available to any other site. We do not want this to happen again

Sorry for asking, but, what the hell does "viral version" means?!
I mean, i hear this the first time and my friend "Google" is not my friend anymore, because, he don´t give me a proper answer. Is this a new word or what?
Does that means, we are only allowed to hack games, which are infected by viruses? Because, google only says to me, that viral comes from virus.
Sorry again for my question, but seriously, i really don´t know the meaning of this.

Well, i don't know why people say viral as it does not mean free like they think. Normally it is used with stuff like viral marketing which is something different. What Death meant is that the developer must have released a public version which everybody can put on their site. So it is not sitelocked and the developer allows us using it.

It means public version (öffentliche Version). That means the version is public and can be used by everyone.
