Game Ideas

Have a sweet idea for a game but don't know how to make one? Here you can share them!

Rules:
Only post an idea if you have actually given it thought about how it could be made into a fun game. As in, don't make ideas up on the spot just so you can gain posts.
You are free to ask questions about other people's ideas, but keep them straightforward.
Don't criticize unless it is about something specific. Don't call the idea lame, because when does that ever get anyone anywhere?
If you're posting an idea, it's best to put it as an attachment. If you can't do that, make sure to identify where it begins and where it ends. for example, put it in a different color than the rest of your post.
And in the name of the Empress Cygnus, do not spam. Spammers will be reprimanded.

Example:
Here is one of my ideas for a flash game.
Attached Files Attached Files
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: The Lord comes swiftly.

So we post a link? If not, then what bout a game where the Earth was a cube and you controlled one side and your enemies controlled the other side? Then one day someone gets a file of some sort and starts filling one angle, when he's finished, the two sides merge together and take over the other sides, but one country fought against them day and night, so they couldn't completely control all the world.

Some Side Names:

Cuba
Brickan
Cubei New Guinea
USC
U CUBE
Cubtropolis
Cuben Square

And So on..

So can you take over other sides? What exactly is the goal?

Re: Game Ideas

My idea would be a sort of overhead free-roaming zombie survival shooter, where you navigate across a city, enter buildings and try to find supplys to survive.
You would need to eat, drink, and sleep at diffrent rates, depending on your stats.
The main stats could be either:
The stats i used to use on Left 2 Die:
Physical, which determines your hit points, ability to carry more supplys, how long you can go with out eating, drinking or sleeping, melee damage, and other physical conditions.
Intelligence, determines how easily you can perform various actions, such as hacking into computers, lockpicking locks, how many extra points you recive after a level up.
It would also add certian indicators, like how much of a chance you have to hit a target, how many zombies are in a room without you being in it.
Emotional means how well you can interact with other survivors, meaning being able to barter at more conveniant prices, being able to talk human enemys out of attacking you, and possible, helping you.
Also special speech options can be unlocked with higher emotional.
Experience means how well you know about all the key elements to survive in a zombie apocalypse, which includes, maintaining weapons, higher weapon damage(any sort of weapon, explosive, melee, conventional, energy).
Also grants a small bonus against normal zombies, and would add in game hints, for example, you are running low on water, and you are starting to feel thristy, an on-screen instruction would point you in the direction of a water supply.

Another stat set would be the Fallout set:
Stregnth, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck.
Strength would indicade physical attributes.
Perception would increase lockpicking, explosive skills, and how well you can percept enemys.
Endurance would give health bonuses, and how long you can go without eating, sleeping or drinking.
Charisma would be the same as Emotional.
Intelligence would be how easily you can hack into terminals, mantain your weapons, ect.
Agility grants stealth bonuses, faster movement speeds, reloading speed, ect.
Luck grants a small bonus in every stat and gives you a higher chance to find more supplys and better weapons.
Also gives a small chance to turn a bad event into a good one.

Shadow, your idea is great. But if you want to make it, you need some coders, a good story and plot (you will need someone who writes the story) and good graphics and sounds (very hard work). That means it would cost a lot of money if you really want to develop it.
My website: http://selectlol.com/
My second game: Play it now

Its easier to find intelligent life in the universum than in the internet.
