yes, i know this, the reason i bypassed the ban was to tell you guys that me and mater are not the same people, and if you ip banned him you would ip ban me, because if there is one thing i have learned from being a global shoutbox mod is that if there is a ip ban it banss more than one person because it bans a area, and me and mater are best friends from school, and he lives about 3-5 miles away

It can ban
255.255.255.x = One network
255.255.x.x = One area
255.x.x.x = one state
x.x.x.x = everyone
It depends on the severity; if both of you must be banned to stay out of trouble, then by all means it should be done.

no your ip is your computer adress, it tells where you live in what state, what country, etc etc
wither way we live extremly close together so any of them would ban me and not just him
