Assumptions should not be stated as fact. Leverage has a history of reliably making his own hacks and is skilled enough to do this one. In this case I would say it's a coincidence. It's easily possible that two people can make the same hack for a game. In this case I think it far more likely it's a coincidence then that he stole it.
