can i make a CE trainer with a .swf or does it have to be a .exe file?

first, you must understand whats the difference between swf and exe.
i will make a simple definition:

exe:
an application that runs to the user but cannot be put to a webbrowser

swf:
some kind of picture that moves, can be put to a webbrowser

cheat engine is an application that lets you to make an exe trainer but doesnt allow you to make swfs cause when you hacked it, you used an outdoor hacking program, not the indoor hacking program(flasm) so it is not possible.

now i realize why my hacks work if i add the addresses manually for a game like warrock but not thing thing etc!

no not really, you can save thing thing into flash and open it with flash player (if you have it) which opens with an application called flash player in an exe format so then you could use cheat engine and make a trainer for it.

but one thing is that the flash file might be a little big...
and also, this way you can make trainers for txt variable games
