I'm not gonna lie, every once in a while I sit down and watch some sonic X, I'm not really a big fan but, eh, it's a Saturday morning cartoon, who wants to pass that up?
Regardless, yeah, kiddies enjoy him because in truth he is one of the better character in the age group he's aimed at.

I stopped watching that series once I realized how different Amy was.

There are better characters, and there are worse... good God there are worse, Yuusei from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's any one? Yeah... not all problems can be solved with a duel, mate.

He's used in signatures because he has a good color to work with
Making a bright blue signature with him in it attracts people's attention.

Plus, he has so many different styles.
