Because notepad can make .exe programs with pop up forums and have over 100 ~ files in the source.

It sucks though, and is pointless.
Still fun though!

the installer is a portable, and the folder it installs everything in is portable, just install to the desktop, bam, portable

If you dont like it make your own, or extract everything and release a portable version that YOU update by yourself. Originally Posted by Magicman

Also later on the program is gonna have dependency's or files that it wont run without. Thats why the Installer in necessary. Unless you want cluter, just install it a folder on your desktop and delete the shortcut then. It's not that difficult.
