My real-life friend Joost (a.k.a. Genesis here) told me about it, so I'm about to download it.

I torrented it but then ended up buying it. It runs much faster when you buy it, plus you can get your own skins and get updates without having to re-download the torrent

I found a video on Youtube that has the newest version + ability to update. So basically the same as buying.

Actually I did a little... Testing from the one I used before with the real version and they were the same! BTW the one I download only took like 3 minutes to do

Yes. I'm pretty sure you can up that to 64 bit with a texture pack.
