You probably couldn't. Not without recoding the whole game. You can't add bytes because it messes up the binary and breaks it or something.

That sucksWhat if there is a domain lock restricting it from being used on the internet? (A normal domain lock)
And? Just break the domain lock.

.....wow......
I mean what if there is already a regular domain lock; can I turn it into a domain lock restricting it from being used on the internet, so it can only be used on a computer.
morphing a domain to local?
ehh...never heard of it happening before.
can you explain what exactly do you want to do?
I don't see why you can't just remove the lock completely.Originally Posted by UndergroundKnowledge

The check of a sitelock is different then a lock to localhost. It is not possible to change it as you would have to change strings and quite a few line of code. So only if you find a lock somewhere thats already in the game that just has to be enabled you have no chance with Hex.
Not completely true. In most cases, you are right, but it is possible to make a preloader that preloads the game. You can add the domain lock to the preloader and then load the game from it.Originally Posted by AceAnderson
But since most people do not have enough skills to make this, you are kind of right.
I've been here before.

How would I do this with a preloader?
They won't tell you.
