New to hacking

Hey im new to hacking flash games and this website itself. I use what i would think is very basic, i use flasm. What i was wondering was when i play pre-hacked games on here some of them are not active until the push of a button. I would like to know how to do that. For example the hack will be 1- Money Hack 2- Experience Hack. This confuses me! help would be appreciated
