Is there a tripod for the iPhone?
I haven't found one..
I have an iTouch, but the best "tripod" system I could craft was this (links to images):

Buy a real camera
Or use something that is close to a real tripod like this: http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/24128/iphone-tripod/
I would buy one if I had the money.
I'm saving up for a Canon 550D (t2i)
Tripods all use the same size and type of screws to fix the camera to the head. So you could only use an adapter that has this screw and can hold the camera. But for serious photography i recommend a real camera. My Nikon D300 does make way better pictures than any phone could. But yeah, they are pretty expensive.
Actually, I have a Nikon D3000, but it lacks the video function.
So you have an SLR to make photos and want to make videos with your iphone. Then i recommend buying a new Nikon over a Canon as you already have a lens that would not fit on the new body. But well, with consumer cameras it seems to be hard to get a body only i can't find one for the D3100 without a lens. Maybe a camcorder or a compact camera would be an option for. Those should fit a normal tripod fine but wouldn't have the same video quality.
To tell the truth, I was thinking about selling my current SLR..
I'm not really tempted by the D3100.
i just have to have the 50fps at hand just in case
I am waiting for the D800 to come out and have stuff like that. I guess it would be fun to use an DSLR wide open to film at night or low light. You won't get such good results with a cheap camcorder.Originally Posted by Joonaqwe
