Edit: and you didn't even give him a verbal! You gave him a warning. You have to give 1 verbal then warn. On the second topic he made, that requires a verbal. This one doesn't.

If you give a verbal, you have to make an entry with "Add feedback", not with a warning. And no link is not a real reason for a verbal warning or a real warning as you did.
