Paintball or Airsoft

Which one is better? Paintball is a lot more expensive but airsoft is fun and more realistic, I have friends who do both, I don't have money for both and I wanna know which I think I'd rather get into... So just talk about it here and maybe give me some suggestions.(I've played airsoft before, not paintball)

Airsoft. Firstly I've seen no micronation use Paintball ever, and second tons use Airsoft in their military. That says something.

I have experienced both, the only reason small countries use Airsoft is because it is cheaper, paintball hurts more, and is more accurate.
