    Stage3D and Unity3D

I recently got a little more into Unity3D games as i've seen there are a few out yet and there might be more releases in the future. What i was interested in the most was of course hacking them so they could be made available with hacks. While doing this i also encountered the new API for Flash called Stage3D, codename "Molehill". Unity made real good 3D graphics available in the browser and now Adobe is adding this new part to the Flash Player which also enables fine graphics with their well known plugin.

Here are some sites with infos and games:

    So here are some questions:
    1. What do you think about Unity3D and have you ever played games made with it?
    2. What do you think about Stage3D and how do you like "Zombie Tycoon"?
    3. Which of these two alternatives do you like more and in long terms give the biggest chance to survive?
    4. Would you like to see hacked Unity3D games added to APH in addition to Flash games?
    5. What kind of game would you really like to see made in 3D (no matter in which language)?
    6. Do you have any tips for 3D web games that everyone should play?

Feel free to add any info you might have or found and ask questions!

    1. I've played a game that wasn't Unity3D - Mega Worm for the iOS.
    2. Stage3D, advanced rendering + flash = awesomeness
    3. Check above
    4. Is that even legal?
    5. 3D sidescrollers, racing games, arcade.
    6. No pornographic content

Yeah, should be pretty much the same thing. The multi platform effort makes Unity quite interesting for developers. Especially for iOS developers as Apple and Adobe don't seem to like each other that much.

Yeah that is a big plus for Flash, the combination of 2D and 3D.

It is pretty much the same as hacking Flash games, there is no difference.

    Sidescrollers sounds cool.

My second game: Play it now

Its easier to find intelligent life in the universum than in the internet.

Weird, it worked fine for me on my old PC with XP and now on the new one with Win7. Takes only 1 minute to download and install and you don't even have to close your browser like when installing Flash.

Well, then its install, play a game, reinstall, repeat!
But seriously, it is hard to figure out why that happens especially when it does not give you any info why its crashing.

Oh, well no i meant the web player. I installed the free Unity version once but only to find more infos about the .unity3d file format. I only started it once so maybe it would have crashed the second time too.
