The great thing about life Angel, is that there are tons of more chicks to pick through. What you've experienced is something that is called being "friend-zoned". Your friend however, is a d**k for dating her if he know you liked her.

Now it's time for the solution to the friend zone. If you want to pick up a chick, you have to be confident. Women are extremely simple people, who look only at the surface of people's actions. If you stay around her, listen to her problems, be her go-to guy, she will assume you either want to be friends-only with her, or you are gay.

And I'm sorry, but that's really how it works. Men know that when we are doing this, it's because we want to establish a connection with the girl. But women are extremely shallow at times, and this time would be one of them. You can't have a pre-existing relationship (most of the times), or the girl won't want to date you.

And you need to remember that you're still young, you have the rest of your life to find that "special someone" for you. You don't need to find it in high school, because I guarantee you they won't be what you are looking for in the long run.

1,kody, who are you to say god doesn't exist

2, Angel, my life was alot like yours,except for the mom dying and being sued part,but i went 18 years with out a real relationship, there was a girl who i fell in love with and she fell in love with me, but her mom wouldn't let us date, so i had to sit by and watch her date other guys, a lot of them my friends, it hurt, a lot, yes i cried a little too( for some reason i cannot break down and cry) but there is nothing wrong with crying. i even wanted to just off myself because i couldn't stand seeing her with other guys. eventually, i got over it and i met a new girl, her name is Nicole. i love her and we are very happy together, basically. life can be crap at 1st but if it starts out as crap then it can only get better. and when it gets better. it is amazing, when my friend told me this i didn't believe them, but now i know they were right. trust me man, it will get better just look forward to the future. and when it does get better you can look back at your life and asking that girl out and you can say to yourself "i can't believe i did that" and not "i wish i had done that"
