I have liked roguelikes since a friend introduced me to Hack in college, but the older I get the worse I do. Either I'm getting dumber or they're getting harder.

Two suggestions:
1) Wait for the developer to fix some of the bugs.
2) I would prefer a "lives" hack, to avoid the "God Mode" experience.
a) Easy: lose a life, add a life and/or
b) Harder: add a life on level up.

Hellllllo, I'm right here, and I have a nation to run and the two forums to go through. Maybe you should've said that Hack was a game, and maybe I wouldn't have mistaken it as the verb.
