I think it's because of school.

Well true. School is a major thing so I could understand that, and everyone probably just got done with their winter breaks. And of course the holidays so they spend time with their family. But this forum wasn't active over summer break either. Well when I came back that is. I don't really know. I mean, we might get some people over time.

I realize I'm not an "active" poster here and I might not know if these ideas will work but I think I have some.
(1) APH is a pretty popular hack site with people coming on a lot and these people have made plenty of accounts, on the APH website though, not on the forums. This may seem dumb but what if in order to comment on a game and vote a game up and down you had to make an account to this forum? That way you can talk on the forum and comment on the games.
(2) The only sign people know of a forum is of the little signs at the top. what about more attention is givin toward the fact there is a forum?
(3) People get "perks" if they make a forum account. What are these 'perks"? frankly, I have no idea. but we can brainstorm

This is interesting, when the society staff, a good community, and even a few rule breakers, but they are very rare.
