[GUIDE] How To Host MW2

Hello !

To host MW2 you need:

-Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
-Good Internet connection and NAT opened
-link removed (This is the program that hosts games in MW2)

1. When you have downloaded MW2 Liberation, extract the folder and open it.
2. Log in to your Steam account, but don't run MW2 throught Steam!
3. Run MW2_Liberation.exe, and make sure that in the MW2 Liberation menu Steam Status is Online, Protection is Loaded, Game Status should be Not Loaded until you load the game, of course. And Loaded DLLs is 0 unless you have loaded DLLs.
4. Press Load Game... It should start MW2 throught Steam.
5. When MW2 is in the Main Menu of the MW2 Multiplayer, go play like you would go normally and press Find Game, then press F4 that opens menu where you can choose the map and game settings. When you have done that press F5 and the game should start and you are the host! (If players don't show up to your game in 10mins restart the MW2 Liberation and try again.)

You can find more info about mw2 liberation in Readme files in the MW2_Liberation folder, Readme files contain info about hosting the server like hotkeys and that stuff.

If you want to play different mods you can change them when you start MW2_Liberation and select them in the Mod Loader. If there isn't anything you can download mods by using google and put them in MW2_Liberation/Mods folder.

It's recommended to host MW2 games in "Run In A Window Mode." You can change the run in a window mode on in txt. file which is located in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players/config_mp.cfg. You can open config_mp.cfg in txt. mode and from there find seta r_fullscreen "1" line and change "1" to "0" and save.
