why did we have to do this: sign up on gravatar, and then upload a pic... bla bla bla and then do it? isn't it just easy uploading it the easy by just simply click upload pic in edit profile?

True. It took me 3 days just to make a gravatar account!

i had no problem... i made the account in 10 min tops, but i have a somewhat slow computer. besides is it really that bigga problem?

With gravatar you can use one image on many sites/boards and the sites do not have to host these files. And i don't see how it can take longer than 10 minutes to create an account there like ExpoundParadox said.
