The Little Green Bars

These little green bars under your name in your posts, what do they mean? I only noticed them after the APH/ATR merger and I thought they were just the different user ranks, but when I hovered my mouse over some of the users', it said stuff like "<user> is on a distinguished road" and mine seemed to say "SUM1 is an unknown quantity at this point". What does this mean?

i asked myself the same question. i would really want to know, since mine says that i'm on a distinguished road, but what does that even mean?

[edit]: i've done some research and found out that almost everyone in this forum "is in a distinguished road." this gets more and more confusing to me.

This should be your reputation if i am correct. My reputation is 1 for example, but i don't know what are the numbers for the individual levels.
